In 2006, the hatchback coupe and wagon were discontinued; but the lineup gained the Sport and Luxury trim designations.
The current generation Mercedes-Benz C-Class is available in five trim levels that correspond to powertrain: C250, C300 4Matic, C350, C63 AMG and C63 AMG Black series (coupe only). The engines range from the C250 ‘s 201-horsepower, turbocharged 1.8-liter four-cylinder to the C63 AMG’s 6.2-liter, 491 horsepower V8. The C250 and C300 are also offered as Luxury and Sport sub-trims, which have the same engine but differ in exterior design appointments, suspension tuning and cabin detailing.
